About Canelle Boughton
Canelle Boughton is an associate publicist at Christina Jensen PR where she works on campaigns for all of the artists on the roster, regularly securing radio interviews, advance feature stories, review coverage, and more. Her past experience includes working as assistant to the Director of Public Relations at Jazz at Lincoln Center and as jazz publicist for the McIntire Department of Music at the University of Virginia. Raised in Alexandria, Virginia, Canelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Minor in French Studies from the University of Virginia, having studied jazz improvisation with trumpeter John D’earth and saxophone technique with saxophonist Jeff Decker. As a member of the UVA Jazz Ensemble, she performed with saxophonist Richie Cole and trumpeter Terence Blanchard. Canelle recently served on a media panel discussion hosted by her alma mater, alongside participants from CBS, NBC, and Google.
