About Jennifer Volmer
Publicity Manager Jennifer Volmer works to create a vibrant online presence for the artists of Christina Jensen PR through social media. She develops each artist's online persona through information sharing and fan interaction on platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Reverbnation, Pinterest, YouTube, and Tumblr. Some of Jennifer's projects at CJPR have included the American Composers Orchestra's SONiC Festival, Simone Dinnerstein's Neighborhood Classics Series, and Lisa Bielawa's Airfield Broadcasts.
A violist, Jennifer divides her time among PR, maintaining a private music studio, and concertizing in New York. After attending Interlochen Arts Academy for high school where she studied viola with David Holland, Jennifer earned her B.M. at the Eastman School of Music in the studio of John Graham. She proceeded to earn her M.A. from New York University where she completed extensive coursework in Performing Arts Administration. Before joining Christina Jensen PR, Jennifer worked at the Metropolitan Opera Guild and the publicity firm Jay K. Hoffman and Associates. Jennifer is a steadfast believer in the importance of divine chocolate as part of a balanced diet.
