July 19: Chart-topping pianist Simone Dinnerstein performs at Luhrs Center's Summer Festival

Shippensburg, PA—Chart-topping pianist Simone Dinnerstein will perform in this year’s Festival 2012 Celebration Series—Festival Celebration Orchestra as soloist in Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 2, on Thursday, July 19 at 8pm at the H. Ric Luhrs Performing Arts Center (1871 Old Main Drive). Led by Guest Conductor David Amado, this all-Beethoven concert will also include his Coriolanus Overture and Symphony No. 3 Eroica.

Pianist Simone Dinnerstein performs on Wigmore Hall's London Pianoforte Series - 13 July 2012

LONDON—American pianist Simone Dinnerstein will perform on Friday, 13 July 2012 at 7pm at Wigmore Hall (36 Wigmore Street) as part of Wigmore’s London Pianoforte Series. The all-Bach programme includes the French Suite No. 5 in G Major and English Suite No. 3 in G Minor, which were featured on Dinnerstein’s first Sony Classical album Bach: A Strange Beauty. The concert will also include selections from her latest Sony Classical album, Something Almost Being Said: The Music of Bach and Schubert – Bach’s Partita No. 1 in B-flat Major and Partita No. 2 in C Minor.

June 24 & 26: Simone Dinnerstein at Colorado Music Festival; in first-ever concert at new eTown Hall

Boulder, CO—Chart-topping pianist Simone Dinnerstein will open this year’s Colorado Music Festival as soloist in Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 2, led by Music Director Michael Christie, on Sunday, June 24 at 7:30pm at Chautauqua Auditorium (900 Baseline Road, Boulder) in Chautauqua Park. The concert will also include Dukas’ “Fanfare” from La Péri and Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 4 in A Major, Op. 90 (“Italian”). In addition, Dinnerstein will perform the first-ever contact at the brand new eTown Hall in Downtown Boulder (1535 Spruce Street, Boulder) on Tuesday, June 26 at 7:30pm, which will include solo piano selections by Bach, Schumann’s Kinderszenen (“Scenes from Childhood”), and Mozart’s Kegelstatt Trio, K. 498 for clarinet, viola and piano with members of the CMF Chamber Players.

June 3: Face the Music performs in Neighborhood Classics concert to benefit Bklyn's PS 321

New York, NY– The Neighborhood Classics concert series will hold its final performance of the season at PS 321’s Auditorium (180 Seventh Ave., Brooklyn) on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at 3pm. The talented teenagers of Face the Music will perform Osvaldo Golijov’s Last Round, for string ensemble; Steve Martland’s Horses of Instruction, for mixed classical/rock ensemble; Anna Clyne’s short quartet Primula Vulgaris; and Robert Honstein’s Night Mixes. All ticket sales will benefit PS 321.
